ABOUT ME

Our friends would probably say that the three of us are very friendly, polite, reliable, active and open minded. We just want to see more of the world and meet new people :)
We know each other from university where we all study to become a teacher for primary school. Before the serious side of life begins, we want to use our freetime to travel as much as possible :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We heard about this project from a friend, who started with CouchSurfing in Australia. She told us how awesome couching can be. We consider this project as a great opportunity to meet new people, to see places through the eyes of locals, to get to know other cultures and to -sometimes- get the chance to find new friends and somehow have the feeling of having a home a thousand miles away from our own one.

Interests

We would really like to get to know NZ/Australia through the eyes of locals but also visit some typical tourist attractions!
Besides studying hard *hihi*, we all like to meet our friends, go to the gym, go out and do just the normal stuff every 23-year-old does.

Movies/Series - How I met your mother, Grey´s anatomy

Music - Soul, RnB, but I also enjoy listening to songs which are from a totally different genre.

Books - when I have the time I love reading books! I´m mainly reading thrillers or fantasy books from Karin Slaughter, Simon Beckett, J.K. Rowling, Trudi Canavan, ...

Jana:
Movies: Jurassic Park, Godzilla, Pirates of the Caribbean, Sherlock Holmes and many more :)
favourite tv shows: Supernatural and Desperate Housewives

music: def depending on my mood but these are some of my alltime favourites: Rihanna, Nickelback, Linkin Park, Beyoncé, The Baseballs and Pitbull

books: Thriller and Fantasy e.g. Jilliane Hoffmann, Karin Slaughter, Markus Heitz, ...

Movies - Scrubs, Two and a half Men; Moreover action-movies or comedies, sometimes trash and some love-stuff in weak moments ^^

Music - that's difficult. I´m prefering rock, (nu-)metal or punk-rock sounds for freetime. My most heard bands are rise against, volbeat and foo fighters, going on with alter bridge and some local bands, too. But I'm also able so abide r'n'b, charts or electronical beats to party and even like songs from bob marley and beethoven. I would say it's a varied mix. Further I'm always open to be caught by the enthusiasm of other people for diffferent music genres (haha, what a bad english. Sorry^^).

Books - Ouuh, I don't read that much. Just books that have to be read for university... or now and then a slim novel in holidays.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since this profile is for the three of us, we couldn't really agree on amazing things we have seen and done together but we hope, that after visiting NZ/ Australia we'll have lots and lots of amazing moments we've shared, but if you're curious and want to know more, just ask us ;)
