ABOUT ME

I'm a student of psychology, political science and economics from Munich, Germany. Always eager to broaden my horizon, meet people from all over the world, learn about different cultures and share views on the big adventure that is life.

PHILOSOPHY

Generally I feel that this world could do with a little more compassion. We should stop competing against each other and should instead embrace our fellow human beings and environment. At the same time I'm a realist, so I guess given human nature this might be a very utopian idea. But I do try to live up to it and I guess to a certain extent this is the sense I see in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm completely new to couchsurfing, but after hearing from friends about the great experiences they have had with it, I am excited about trying it out :)

Music, Movies, and Books

There is no way I can pin down my taste in music, my favourites range from Beethoven and the Beatles over the XX and the Shout Out Louds to Florence + the Machine and MIKA. But I am always curious to discover new artists.
Some of my favourite writers are Oscar Wilde, J.R.R. Tolkien, Charles Dickens and Juli Zeh (a German writer).
And with respect to movies, I like any film that still occupies your mind after you have left the cinema. Some movies that have left an impression on me are "Melancholia", "Les Amours Imaginaires" and "Inception"
