ABOUT ME

Music moves me more than anything else. A good conversation is better than any night out drinking. Truth trumps everything and the pursuit of exalting the truth is my battle everyday. That means understanding the motives of my heart, each and every day. Atlas Shrugged is one of my favorite books along side Travels with Charley, Shawshank Redemption is one of my favorite movies. I play banjo, guitar, little harmonica, and i love to sing although im no James Taylor, or Jim Croce, or Seth Avett, or Josh Garrels, or Noah Gundersen, but i can probably out sing Noam Pikelny. I try to eat healthy and i collect things, my apartment is slowing turning into an antique store. Some call me Pappy, I'm an old soul who craves simplicity among a complex society. And although most days i don't show it, my heart belongs to Christ. He is the only one who has taught me how to be a better man through the freedom of his Gospel and the guidance of his Spirit, without which I would be lost in my struggles.

Interests

playing a little guitar, banjo, or anything i can attempt to make a melody with. Reading, mostly non-fiction. Coffee. The smell of wood. Book-binding and printmaking.
