I'm a 24(as of 2016) year old guy from the sunny island of Singapore. Currently a third year Undergraduate from Nanyang Technological University. I'm a design student, more specifically I'm learning VFX and CGI in my school. Lived in Singapore my whole life but I love to explore new places.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

Usually I book hostels when I travel overseas, my friend suggested couchsurfing if I travel alone as there is a different experience to be had between the host and traveller when its one-on-one ( in contrast with the large groups in hostels ). Also, just to be frank, as a student, I'm always looking for the most cost efficient way to see the world! ( doesn't mean Im not willing to pay anything though! )

Sorry for not being able to host! The space in my home is not very accomodating and my parents ( apartment prices in Singapore are very high ) are quite conservative and private.

Interesses

I like to travel and see new things, moreso if its exploring natural environments. I went the the calanques in Marseilles in Summer and it was amazing! I like to think I've watched many movies, especially the older ones, but Im always open to new titles.

My taste in music jumps here and there, usually I just save whatever I stumble upon in spotify or youtube, so theres a bunch of genres and languages inside there.

I really like video games ,though the upkeep to play the latest games are quite taxing on my wallet ,so now I just keep up to date with the latest news and games that are out. And it goes without saying Im into design and aesthetics, partially the reason why I aim to travel more is to broaden my horizons on design influences, so that I may apply them to my projects should the opportunity open up.

I've climbed 7 indonesian volcanoes in 7 days before ( Raung, Agung, Ijen, Marapi, Arjuno, Welirang, Lawu.), but that was years ago and admittedly quite crazy!

I can offer personal stories from the various places I've been to, maybe some cultural history if i remember. Also how life is like in Singapore, its a very, very small country so not alot of people know about it ( or where it is ). I would share recipes for local Singaporean dishes if I could cook, but sadly I'm a horrible chef.
