About Me

To seek and create beauty, truth, humor and medium amounts of adrenaline!

I am friendly, outgoing, thoughtful, creative, silly and a good listener. I love to learn, laugh and connect with living beings. My demeanor can range from serene and meditative to expressive and fun loving. I am tactful and prepared so I can be spontaneous and wild when opportunities arise. I'm a bit of a grasshopper...a bit of a koala. I'm an actor/songwriter/playwright. I am where rolling hills meet marshes--vibrant and humble. I love to adventure, relax and repeat. In the last few years I've been thinking a lot about, and transitioning to a lifestyle of sustainability.

Variety is the spice of life and laughter is the shortest distance between two people. I believe that all matter and energy is one, and that time exists to prevent everything from happening at once. It and our five awesome (but limited) senses allow us to perceive separation so we can go about our distinct lives on this miraculous spinning sphere. Have fun. Express individuality. Feel the connection with the greater whole.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Surfer, Host.

I have surfed in Idaho and Texas with some fantastic folks. At my zany college house we used to host. This is the origin of my own personal profile.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch nature documentaries and comfort comedies.
I listen to euphoric, hard hitting pop music and classical compositions.
I read Tom Robbins, zen philosophy and the local news.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wrote an environmentally themed, one-man educational/comedy show in Portuguese and performed at schools in Brazil.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to facilitate creating a 10 minute play exploring something important to you, something you need to express, or something simply for the sake of frivolity and fun.
