Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm drawn towards artistic people, that is, people with an alternative vision of the world and who live an alternative, somewhat less-mainstream lifestyle.

I would couchsurf (almost) solely on the basis of getting to know a culture, sub-culture, or lifestyle photographically. Hippies, hipsters, goth kids, midwestern scene kids, the indie scene - whatever. I'd travel to a place just to get to know it photographically, and the ensuing result, chemistry and friendship would just happen organically.

If you're down for chilling with art/photography kids, and are comfortable with your way of life and would want it retold - it sounds like a party to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Woke to a heavy rumbling while staying on the edge of Volcan Arenal in La Fortuna Costa Rica. Stepped outside to see a steady stream of molten lava dripping from the crater. beautiful yet frightening.
