Simply Huge Changes - Volunteer in all 50 states for 365 days!
I'm very laid back, independent, and love to make people laugh. I recently quit my job in order to concentrate on my own personal mission to give back for a year. I hope to get other people excited and involved by making the idea of volunteering less "churchy" and more normal by fusing music, concerts, parties, bbq, and other social events with days of giving.
If you don't take pride in what you do than why are you doing it? I'm in no rush to be 65, old, and tired. I plan on taking breaks all the way there, and experiencing all that life has to offer - or at least as much as I can before checking out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Zero! I'm taking a 4 week personal cross-country road trip from San Francisco to NYC going across mainly the southern half of the country. I will be testing out CS2 on this trip, so I'd appreciate your help and am looking forward to it. I'm going to then hopefully start the trip if I have raised a little bit more money and received a loner car for the year. Anyone work at a car dealership and would be interested in helping me out that would be great. I'll return it at the end of the year...with 50-60K miles. Lots of love though.

Teach, Learn, Share
I hope to go back to grad school to study interaction design or human computer interaction which is basically designing the way someone will use a product, website, or service rather than just designing it the way you think it should be. I took a few grad courses while I was in undergrad at IU, and we need more people designing stuff that is accessible for everyone. IPhone's are cool, but many people with different types of disabilities feel different when around products like that because it excludes them. I would rather design a phone that a blind, deaf, or normal person would be capable of using and accepting over the latest gadget that receives all the press.
