I'm a 6 foot tall Canadian boy who wants to see the world, and study the cuisines in countries and cities all over. I studied and worked in the culinary field since I was 16, and would love to branch out and learn from not only the best chefs around, but also from those who may not have a culinary background.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to teach Americanized and Canadian cooking with the rest of the world as I learn about local ingredients and cuisine!

I would love to travel to very unique place and learn about as many cultures as possible, as a sort of celebration of being human.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've always loved listening to soulful and emotional music. I live for emotion. Therefor my favorite pieces of literature include the likes of The Clockwork Orange. Rick Riordan hit a great spot with me as a teenager, capturing the imagery of Greek legends in his book series "Percy Jackson and the Olympians".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Although I don't think I have done anything truly spectacular, I do believe that this is a first step towards doing something incredible.

The reason it's called a Pound cake is because it uses a pound of each ingredient.

1lb Flour
1lb Egg
1lb Sugar
1lb Butter

Toss in some vanilla extract, and bake on 400 until done!
