About Me

20 years young, was born and raised in Newcastle, Australia a beachy town a couple hours north of Sydney. I love meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and hope to make many new friends on my travels. With Australia only being settled a couple of hundred years ago I also appreciate the awesome history, language and architecture that other countries have to offer.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,
It's about learning to dance in the rain

Alan Watts philosophy on - 'What if money were no object' is something i strive to live by.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet new cool people and explore the way locals can show you. Yet to host because I only found out about CS when I came over but cannot wait to host back in Australia !

I played Rugby League for several years & until recently played social Tennis. Urban/contemporary art but can appreciate just about all forms. Love learning new things and am a keen listener. I also enjoy going to the gym regularly and staying fit . Going out for social drinks and partying every now and then.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love a bit of all music. Depends on my mood really. Favourite band would have to be The XX.
Clever thriller movies & comedies are my favourites. Anything with Michael Cera, Will Ferrel, Seth Rogan. Juno, Law Abiding Citizen, Shawshank Redemption, Youth in revolt, Superbad are some of my all time favourites.
Not a massive reader but I have just about read all of Dan Browns books. (Da Vinci Code, Inferno, The Lost Symbol, Angels and Demons)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Received a scholarship in the UK and then decided to travel the world on my own
Climbed Mount Snowden in Wales

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a tradesman painter and can teach/guide people on house painting. I also enjoy painting canvases in my spare time. Would be interested in learning a little language from all the countries I visit .

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good laugh, helping hand whenever I can, always up for making new friendships & going new places ! Insight on Australian culture.
