Hello there stranger!
I'm Jasmin from Finland and all over the place. I love to travel and experience new places, cultures and people and thats how I landed here.
I've been living in Berlin for two years, studying photography with a passion, working a lot, trying to travel as much as possible and at the same time experience as much as I can of what the city has to offer.
As a person I am very open and sincere. I'm pretty much always happy. Even when I'm depressed and crying my eyes out I laugh. I may come off shy/quiet sometimes, but it's because I just like to really connect with people, see them for who they are and get something interesting out of everyone. But once you know me there is no stopping! So overall I'm a pretty good and worth while person ;)
Laugh a lot. Hysterically.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted a number of people both in Berlin and Helsinki, through couchsurfing and otherwise. Right now my life is quite busy, so I prefer not to host people... because I would like to take the time to spend time with you and show you the city I live in. After all my home is my home, not a hotel.
Now I am traveling a lot, and after all these years of hosting I'd love to try surfing with some interesting people!
So far I have had only good experiences via couchsurfing, and I believe it will stay this way. Everyone I meet is very different, and I think thats wonderful, because it enables you to go beyond your usual limits and make friends you otherwise wouldn't have.
Photography, painting, drawing, reading, pottery, art in general, learning, thrift stores, vegetarian food&asian cooking(and, lets face it, all other cooking), cupcakes - making&eating, stuff that glisters and shines, bathing in a sauna and swimming in a lake, bookstores, puppies, especially my own, children, people in general, nature and saving the world kind of stuff, animals in general, being fascinated by the wonders of this world, big and small, acupuncture, massages, (laughter) yoga, filmssss, dancing to the fine young cannibals, early mornings and late nights, a good beer or wine with friends, candle light and starry skies, rainy days in bed with tea, sunday mornings listening to fleetwood mac records, finnish summer, warmth, good people.
Music, Movies, and Books
Everything which has a cover and pages. I'm not the type to throw a book away unread! I'm also trying to catch up on classics. But I think my all time favorites have to be Haruki Murakami, Hunter S. Thompson, Anais Nin, Henry Miller, Charles Bukowski, Gregory David Roberts and Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The smallest grain of dirt on the street, and fields of daisies, and highway bridges, and plankton and spiders on my walls, and the taste of water on my lips, and love and hate, and all the people and the animals and things that make this world go round! It's all really amazing, you know?
