I am a 28-year-old man that loves adventure and loves to fly by the seat of his pants. I enjoy roadtrips and love doing things spur of the moment. Might as well find some exciting things to do and get out of time while I'm still young and don't have many responsibilities outside of my busy and often hectic work schedule.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because the concept is so beautiful to me. I love helping people in anyway that I can, and I also love saving people money. Even more, I love helping other spend less, as I've never exactly had a fortune myself. I feel that such a system allows people to find way more personable accommodations and to save money at the same time. I am always looking to build relationships, and Couchsurfing allows me to get connected and hear people's stories as well as find/offer a place to stay!
I am very into fitness, sports, music (I play a little bit of acoustic guitar), and dancing. I do enjoy a good beer and I love to be outside.
I am a Christian and am deeply interested in learning more about my faith and about other's. By no means do I ever look to push my beliefs on others, but I love to listen and find out who people are.
I like to describe myself as a 90/10 person. I only care 10% about what I'm doing and 90% who I'm doing it with. I love to try and see new things, but I also love doing ordinary things with extraordinary people!
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm sort of nerdy, so I often read books and articles on training and coaching. But I do also read anything written by John Grisham, the Harry Potter series and the Bible.
I listen to most any music if I think it's good. My favorite is probably country, but I like to get a bit of everything.
As far as movies go, I am not ashamed to admit that I like RomComs one bit. Pitch Perfect is one of favorites. Like any guy though, I do love most comedy and action movies (Fast Movies...thumbs up!). Horror films just seem pointless to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been pretty fortunate to experience a lot of neat things in my time. I got to fight a bull in Oklahoma, jump off a cliff in AZ, and record a song in an LA recording studio.
If there is one thing I've done that I thought was particularly amazing, it was when I got to hike up to the tallest paved road in the US and overlook some beautiful cliffs.
