I value traveling with a purpose - staying in an area for an extended period of time, building relationships along the way, and learning about other ways and perspectives of life (which I've done for 2 years as a Peace Corps Education Volunteer in Indonesia).

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a teacher with over 5 years of experience working with kids at the secondary school level down to the primary school level. I'm also a dedicated and intrepid learner who is highly motivated to grow in and outside of the teaching sphere. Along with my education background, I've managed a coffee shop for one year (barista for 2.5) and have initiated, managed and budgeted various creative projects such as a world map mural and English classroom. I've also initiated participation in a global art exchange and "pen pal" video exchange with my Indonesian high school students.

Aside from my background, I really just want to learn about different ways of life and different perspectives. I'm excited to share conversations and can lend a committed helping hand.
