I grow up in Shanghai, having the traditional Chinese education in the past. Currently, I am a sophomore in NYU Shanghai, which is a multi-culture university in Shanghai. I like meeting people from different places and backgrounds.

I am a sport fan. I can play basketball, soccer, badminton, table tennis, American Football(yes, it's real football with equipment:) I feel proud of being a member of Titans, which is one of the three American Football teams in Shanghai. However, I am a new beginner in football. I get involved in this sport after entering university. Liking to explore new things makes me start love this sport.

I found out my interest in traveling when I entered university. Part of the reason was that I got more free time in university than before. I went to Thailand in April, 2016 and Israel in July, 2016. The trip to Thailand was just entertainment, enjoying the beaches in Phuket Island. It was pretty hot, to be honest. In the first half of the 2016 summer, I went to Tel Aviv University for around 40 days, studying Middle East and Cyber Security. It was pretty a great experience for me, not only because I learned knowledge when taking summer course, but also because I learned some culture when traveling in my free time. The beaches in Tel Aviv, the biggest city in Israel, are amazing. I miss it so much. And the local people there are pretty nice. It's more peaceful than I thought before. During the weekend in Israel, I traveled to Petra and Wadi Rum in Jordan. It was sooooo amazing. I can tell you more when we meet.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I knew Couchsurfing when I was taking an English Exam in my high school. There was reading passage about Couchsurfing, introducing the new style of living when travelers go around the world. I was impressed by that passage and I looked up the organization and how it worked. It was just what I want. But I didn't have enough time to go out to explore so I only created an account.

Now, I am BACK. I want to make good use of the platform, meeting more interesting people. I think Couchsurfing can help me know some amazing people who can expose me to the local culture and historical places there.
