ABOUT ME

I am a 27 year old male from the coastal city of Perth in Western Australia. For the past 12 months I have been traveling around South and Central America with my girlfriend. This has so far been the most mind and thought expanding experience I have ever had. I have learnt more than I could have ever imagined about our planet, humanity, and life. Best of all there is so much more to learn, from so many people, and hopefully you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience in CouchSurfing has only been with an amazing host named Jose in Chile. Jose provided my girlfriend and I a fabulous tour of his town and introduced us to many of his friends along with a traditional Chilean asado. Not only did he provide us with a bed for 4 nights, he showed us the friendship. I regret not getting involved more so with the couchsurfing community whilst we travelled through South and Central America, however I plan to try and make up for that with my stay here in California.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow, where to begin..
One of the most amazing people I've ever met is my girlfriend. The most open, understanding and lovely person I could have ever hoped to have met - I'm so lucky!
My travels throughout Central and South America have been the most amazing eye-opener for me; in understanding the diversity of our planet, the amazing people who inhabit it, and the inequality which exists. It has presented to me via the most beautiful canvas all the beauty and warts of the human condition.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am certainly keen to learn and critic more about a resource based economy, to share ideas of a different global economic model.

Professionally I am involved in Marketing, particularly in the area of website and graphic design. I love teaching and helping people with design and am always available to offer support.
