ABOUT ME

We love to travel. My wife is a Graduate Student in Counseling and I, Jay, am working with an organization that helps the mentally ill. We love conversation, dogs, camping, hiking, canoeing, swimming, laughing, cooking, reading, coffee, tea, movies, bicycling, thrift shops and garage sales, others, family.

PHILOSOPHY

Love, hope, the pursuit of that. We have a hope that is built on a firm foundation. Life is about living with others, not pursuing it alone. That is why couch surfing is so important. This life is not about getting home and shutting off the world around us. There is so much that others have to give to us. We have to open our eyes and our ears and receive that.

We get the importance of community and we are looking to get ourselves involved any way we can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We love meeting new people and finding ways to be hospitable to them as well. If it's not our couch right now, it will be something we can give. We make great rice crispy treats! We have couch surfed in Bend, OR so far and plan to extend our travel experience from there.
