To seek out the tastiest restaurants/food trucks/bakeries, to bike the most scenic pathways, challenge myself every day, and to meet others interested in doing the same!
I'm a twentysomething student who is obsessed with traveling and food! I live to eat and will jump through all kinds of hoops to find my next delicious meal. I've traveled to many countries including Egypt, China, Thailand, Ecuador, and Spain and I'm hoping to go to many more! Next on my list is Peru to hike Machu Picchu.
Other things I like doing - riding my bike, drinking tea (my tea collection is embarrassingly large), going to concerts (I'm partial to acoustic but really up for anything except metal), cooking and baking, reading classic novels, and staying up late. I love meeting new people (especially those who are as obsessed with food as I am!) so I hope to meet new friends through couch surfing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to couch surfing but I hope that I can meet new friends and see a whole different side to the cities I travel to!
First time surfer, looking forward to trying it out!
I love cooking, baking and experiencing new and delicious food. One of my favourite things to do is go to farmers markets and talk to the people behind the produce. Learning about the science of cooking is also fascinating to me and I try to apply what I've learned as much as I can. I am rarely found without a thermos of tea.
I am a voracious reader and once I pick up a good book I cannot put it down. This makes things like cooking and sleeping difficult, but good stories are worth it. Some of my favourite authors are Jane Austen, Philip Pullman, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Margaret Atwood, and Joan Didot.
I love exploring museums and art galleries, although I definitely like taking my time and reading every description so if you're a fast-paced museum patron you will have to wait for me...
I don't really like clothes shopping unless there are insane sale prices. I'd rather be eating gelato or perusing cookbooks than trying on jeans any day.
Fitness is important to me and I love exploring the great outdoors! I used to play soccer and volleyball regularly and I'm always up for a camping roadtrip. You can't beat seeing the stars in the forest.
