About Me

CURRENT MISSION
As they say, "It's never too late to realize your dream". Well, as early as I can remember, I had always dreamed of travelling but it has to be put on hold after college since I belong to a generation where we were motivated to first build a future before anything else. You know, priorities in life..
With such mindset, my dream was set aside until I met a friend way back in college who had given up on everything (of course, with his own reasons) and had been travelling around since 2000.
He had all those stories about his adventures, the different cultures he came to learn and all the people he had met with some becoming his close friends. After that meeting, I realized that there is still an opportunity for me someday to fulfill my dream. Anyways, what's wrong with doing it when you're in your 40's, 50's or even 60's.. :-)
I also came to realize as my friend said that there is no time limit to travel. Yes, some may argue that the best time to travel is when you are younger. "That no one is guaranteed old age, that you can travel when you retire and have a lot of time doing so". I may agree with that statement but I don't think it is a mistake to choose to be responsible, work hard and build up a life and family when you are young.
He also changed my mindset that just because I've had not the chance to travel abroad makes me not well rounded, boring or basically dismissed compared to much younger experienced travelers half my age.. :-)

Anyways, he introduced me to CS way back in 2006 but unfortunately, there was no much activity then in CS here in the Philippines and that maybe some of the reason why I somewhat lost interest until recently..
