I truly believe laughter is the best medicine with happiness as the incentive and passion that keeps us feeling alive. I'm crazy about adventure and love a good challenge. I want to learn as much as I can from as many people as possible.
I'm a very friendly and genuine person. I'm a dreamer and hopeless romantic which is perhaps why I love traveling so much. I try to always give to others and treat people the way I like to be treated. I enjoy continuously challenging myself. I have a tuxedo kitty named Tux who I love dearly and a big wonderful family and friends who I consider extended family. I am so excited to meet new friends! =)
I appreciate every sunset and I'm still working on my own philosophies. I remember that the destination is only a small fraction of the journey, yet I can't wait to see where the road takes me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love taking new friends out and showing them beautiful Southern California. I work in Hollywood and am frequently in Las Vegas so if you are into nightlife, I'm a good person to go out with. I also live a block from the beach in a great neighborhood. If you enjoy yoga, there is free yoga on the beach next to my house 3 times a week. I really enjoy hearing the philosophies and experiences of different people so even a simple conversation over coffee or wine intrigues me.
I'm new to the CouchSurfing website but I have had new friends/travelers from both Austrailia and England stay on my couch and it was a wonderful experience! I can't wait to host more and try CouchSurfing myself! =)
Music and salsa dancing are my biggest passions. I sing mainly jazz and blues, but I'm a classic rock girl at heart although I grew up in the country. I dance salsa and ballroom and will be studying Argentine tango in Argentina. I would love to learn samba in Brazil. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, movies, and intelligent conversation over good wine.

Music, Movies, and Books
The documentary "The Human Experience" inspired me to travel and changed my life. That is why I am traveling to South America. "Life is Beautiful" also impacted my life and I want to get a tattoo to remind myself la vita e bella. "Desperado" is my current favorite movie.I love all types of music. My band was just nominated for Best Latin at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards but I also sing jazz, blues, reggae, rock n' roll, r&b, and am currently working on a house/pop album. I even studied opera, classical music, and musical theater in college. My first 2 and a half years were spent as a full scholarship music student at the best music conservatory on the west coast. I'm a classic rock girl at heart so that's my go-to jam. I've sang with Stevie Wonder and worked with many of the most reputable musicians of all time. I've been to dozens of concerts, many backstage. You name it: KISS, Eminem, CCR/John Fogerty, Earth Wind & Fire, Michael Buble, Rise Against, Bad Religion, 30 Seconds to Mars, Bush, Blink 182, Chicago, Tiesto, Santana, etc etc etc... I work with many of these artists. I love mowtown, country, techno, hip hop, and even metal occasionally. I dance salsa and ballroom so give me anything Latin. I'm interested in all genres of music.I love to read anything from psychology books to murder/mystery novels to Cosmo magazine to the news to the Bible.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Parasailing over the arc in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico was simply breathtaking. I'll never forget the moment I was flying and felt truly free.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Long Beach so I'm great with people and communicating. I'd love to share my passion for life and positive outlook with others. I work in the music and entertainment industry so it would be great to exchange tastes in music or film.
