ABOUT ME

I am a southern-born American PhD student biologist. More specifically, I am an evolutionary biologist specializing in North and Central American freshwater fishes! My research on fishes has taken me throughout the southeastern US and Lower Central America, where I will be returning many times in the future.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CouchSurfing. My decision to join CS precipitated out of my current pleasure and business mix-trip to Stockholm, Sweden. Currently, I need a room for this weekend due to extenuating circumstances. I hope to secure an economical place to stay, and I hope this experience will help me connect more intimately with the local culture. Although my CS experience has its beginnings in my own difficult travel situation, I am an intelligent and fairly well-traveled person interested in surfing and hosting in the future!!

My current home state of Utah is quite possibly one of the USA's most beautiful states. With many outdoor activity attractions during both summer and winter months, including world-famous snow skiing, fly fishing, hiking, camping, and mountain biking, Utah attracts many visitors. Hopefully, I can connect with a diversity of individuals who surf my own couch.
