ABOUT ME
My best friends would tell you that they love me - that I am very funny, mostly through sarcasm, and occasionally at their expense - that I am ambitious, particularly in architecture and lacrosse - that I will design their houses for them - that I have helped guide them through their relationships - that we have matured together as a result of one another.
Interests
Architecture. I love buildings, drawings, architects. I love designing, drawing, reading, and writing. Even when I take classes that have nothing to do with architecture, I find ways to make them about it (i.e. I wrote a paper about fractal architecture and self-organizing cities in a class about chaos theory and fractals, and a paper about Corbusian architecture for a class about the history of the future). Architecture is what I do when I travel and if you ask my girlfriend, it's what gets me most excited when I talk about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing on the cliffs on Dun Angus in Inis Mohr, of the Aran Islands, in Ireland, where there were no rails, no guards, no other people, and no signs of any sort. I was standing in a pre-historic fort, looking over the edge of a deteriorating limestone island, into a violent sea 200 feet below.
Hiking in Escalante, Utah, where our guides were rocks in the distance that seemed, no matter how long you walked towards them, never moved in the landscape or got any bigger at all. They were titans of the earth that appeared to dismiss the laws of visual perspective.
Walking into the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. It is the most awe-inspiring building I have ever entered. It is a vertiginous forest in the form of a cathedral and conceived by a genius.
