I am a Shaman in training and am studying to one day be a curandero. I have a strong passion for the environment, healing, and living close to nature. I just graduated from Colorado College. While I was there I studied Cognitive Science, but was actively involved in environmental programs. I lived in an alternative living community junior year. There we followed a sustainable lifestyle, using only grey water toilets and very limited electricity and heat.

In college I took up passions for gardening, nutrition, and cooking tasty vegetarian grub. I also worked in IT on campus and started writing blog posts to make some extra cash. More than anything though I love keeping my heart open to new lands, making new friends, and writing short spirit stories after a hard days work.
