Continually educate myself about the world
I'm staying in Glasgow, Scotland. I'm shy at first but once I have warmed up to you, I'm not the least talkative person you will know.
Everyone has some interesting stories about him/herself and I'm always curious to find out more about them. When I don't talk much, I'm a pretty good listener.
"It's not about how good others have done,
it's about what you have not done."
"Success is like running on a treadmill and you keep making more because you're afraid to fall off the ladder of success once you slow down."
I love reading inspirational and motivational quotes from famous people, like Abraham Lincoln, Alexander Graham Bell, Benjamin Franklin, Henry Ford, Helen Keller, John C.Maxwell, Franklin D.Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt, Eleanor Roosevelt, Mark Twain and etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I haven't had one, but I'm looking forward to it!
I do sports(badminton, cycling, basketball, climbing) and I love photography(landscape, portrait, panorama, HDR) which makes me appreciative of art and design.
I also enjoy nature, which means I love walking, hillwalking, hiking or just a leisure stroll in the park.

Music, Movies, and Books
Well, uni takes up a lot of my time so I read news daily and anything that is related to my course - Economics. On my free time, I read Malcolm Gladwell, Dale Carnegie and anything alike. I used to read Meg Cabot when I was a teen but I still read novels occasionally.
When I'm stressed, I like to listen to something light. Other than that, I listen to just about anything if it's not too intense.
Favourite movie is the Pursuit of Happyness! I like movies like that as they are very inspirational and uplifting at times of difficulty. I like to watch comedies to relax as well. Anything like LOTR, Star Wars, Inception, X-men, The Dark Knight are interesting to me too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a year in Singapore before coming to Glasgow to continue my studies. It was a pretty good learning experience and I had the opportunity to do so many things to get to where I am today.
We will talk more if we meet one day!
Teach, Learn, Share
Although I've gotten a good camera years ago, I haven't been doing much photography. I would definitely like to learn, exchange ideas and explore more about photography with anyone who has a knack for it!
Uni has forced me to be an average-okay cooker but I can actually cook some decent dishes, especially Asian/Malaysian cuisine.
I speak 6 languages including dialects(English, Mandarin Chinese, Malay, Hokkien, Hainanese, Cantonese), so I can teach you if you're keen! I also speak a little German.
I was a state badminton player and I play for the uni team now.
