Overview
About Me
Just a simple hometown girl who loves to travel. No matter where I have visited in the world, there is no place like home. And for my guests, I hope you feel at home here. Smiles are free! :)
Please have references on your profile for consideration. It's for the safety of the community. If you are new to CS, please read this https://support.couchsurfing.org/hc/en-us/articles/200717684-Tips-to-be-a-Great-Couchsurfer - I have read https://matadornetwork.com/life/how-to-be-the-perfect-couchsurfing-host/
Hafez, a guest I hosted, and I have the same philosophy (stole a lil bit from him):
Live and let live. Embrace the beauty of coexistence, understanding, and acceptance. Givers NEVER truly lose—when you share what you have, whether it’s your time, kindness, or resources, you create ripples of positivity that enrich not only others’ lives but also your own. Sharing opens the door to deeper peace, love, and fulfillment in life.
Life becomes infinitely more meaningful and enjoyable when shared with true, well-connected friends scattered across the globe. These connections remind us of our shared humanity and bring color to our journey.
Give freely to others whenever you can—whether it’s through acts of kindness, support, or simply being present. When you give with an open heart, the universe has a way of returning blessings to you in ways you may not always expect. What you put out into the world often comes back to you in beautiful and unexpected forms.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I understand the importance of having a comfortable and safe place to stay when travelling. My best experiences have been with people who live in the cities I have visited.
The whole theory of the universe is directed unerringly to one single individual - namely YOU. - W. Whitman
I host global travelers who have hosted others. I will consider all, but preference is given to those who know the CS assignment. 🙃 I like to meet people who believe in building a global community where you feel valued and respected for the person you are.
I do work; and my work takes me out of town sometimes. Please do not be offended if I am unable to host you because I am in California. When I am not working, I accept requests. I do get many requests from people who recently joined and want a place to crash because of our awesome football or hockey teams. This is not that type of accommodation.
Please do not send me friend requests if we have not met. It's suss.
You have to get comfortable helping yourself to whatever food is in the house and cooking. I expect you to hang like it was your house.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy jazz, big band, classical, and hip hop, rap. I like all music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living my Life. It has been a series of fortunate and amazing events. Every country I have visited, I loved experiencing the culture. People I have met along my journey have made a positive imprint on my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am horrible at cooking, so I am no help there. You are welcome to anything I have in the house.
I would love to learn anything about you or your culture (even if you are from inside the states)
Sharing..... I was raised in a family that always had their doors open to friends and family and CS is a nice way of continuing that tradition. So, I share my small home and city with you.
If I know what you like to do, then I can share my favorite places in Pittsburgh.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a guest bedroom available in the city of Pittsburgh 3 miles from downtown. There is a bus stop in front of the townhouse and takes about 12 minutes to arrive in downtown. 20 minutes from airport Uber is reasonably priced.
At minimum, I can take you to the West End Overlook as it is very close to the house. If you like to walk or hike, it is a mile from the house and up a hillside. You can picnic there. Great place to take your breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
You can smoke outside.
