My name is Romain, I'm 26. I'm come from Perpignan (a city in the south of France) I go to Paris, five years ago to work in the field of sales.
I decided to go back to school two years ago to become a visual merchandiser.
Now that I'm graduated, I wish to discover ireland in a rather original way. Live in total immersion.

I met Romain during our study of visual merchandising.
In life I like to move, I'm curious and I like to learn new things and make new experiences, we are both very motivated and active.
Ireland is a country that interests me a lot and I'm looking forward to discover the country gradually. I also worked with children and i loved that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just graduated, we decided to discover ireland. We are on the road since November 10 , we spend our time between woofing and young hostel. We are pleased to discover this country and we do a lot of amazing meeting.
We would love to meet even more people and embark on the adventure of couchsurfing.
We really want to discover and learn the cuture and share with the people here, differently. We did not want to stay in our hotel room , but rather to travel to a different way. And we love the fact of exchange of ideas , passions and tastes.

Interests

Romain : I love traveling (malaysia, greece, sweden, scotland, spain, italy ...) and discovering new things.
I also love fashion, movies, shows, nature, animals.

Jeanne : Travel and new experiences are also my main interests. I like nature, landscapes and see different things.I am also interested in the different lifestyle of mine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Romain : I like all kinds of music : electro , pop, jazz .. I am curious and my tastes are quite varied .
About movies , I love Almodovar, and I am quite a fan of science fiction movies .
I have no favorite books ... I also read a little of everything .

Jeanne : I listen to a lot of music and I'm always curious to discover . I am very interested in electronic music for many years. I also like old school rap and hip hop . I love the Tarantino and Clint Eastwood's movies . I like to see all the movies to have a opinion.
My mother is a librarian and I always read a lot . I love the classic French literature, especially Sartre and Albert Camus. In film and literature , I also like science fiction.

We also watch a lot of series and we are totally crazy about Game of Thrones , Walking dead and american horror stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Romain : I went for 3 weeks in Malaysia with my backpack and a friend. A country not very touristy.
Walking in the jungle, meet people from different backgrounds and walks of life, has to confront such a different culture to ours was a magical moment . The beautifuler part of my trip was to sleep under the stars in the middle of the Malaysian jungle in a cave full insect , bats and other animals ... unforgettable!

Jeanne : Generally I would say that every trip I made remains of great memories. Two years ago I was in greece with friends to visits the Cyclades Islands . In Ios we met an English man who had decided to come and live there it is 40 years old . We talk with him and the next day he was expecting us at our hotel with his car to show us the island in his way. They show us the beautiful beaches , places unknown to tourists. We knew him the last 24 hours and have shared a lot . It was an amazing experience !

Teach, Learn, Share

We want to learn from people's culture. Whether it be music, art, or even food. We want to share our ideas and life course, and learn from others.
Also we are both very interested in music, fashion, cinema, decoration, literature, and are always looking to share our tastes and to discover new things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First we can easily learn to speak french of course!
