ABOUT ME

i am introverted with bouts of extroversion. quirky, friendly, and open-minded.

i like to use my vintage manual camera mostly because it makes a satisfying clicking sound to rewind it.

i don't dress in all black anymore (well, not EVERY day) but i was called 'emo' on more than one occasion in high school. i also like goth clubs. not the ones that play a lot of electronic music though. the ones that play joy division.

so. i'm an emo kid. cheer me up. =]

i'm vegetarian and love animals but i don't really care what other people eat.

not completely sure what i want to go to school for, but considering fashion. i can alter clothes well and sewing is one of my favorite things to do. good creative channel for that occasional OCD.

music is something i can't imagine life without. also good films. for some reason i've met and gotten along well with various film people. screen writers and filmmakers and photographers. but i think i relate most to writers. i write as well.

i do hope one day to write a memoir, though. i've already got some chapters mapped out in my head.

soon i will move in w/ a friend in dundee, oregon and i am looking for some couches beforehand. and this is a way to meet new friends in portland. i have been here less than a week!

i will admit to being a huge elliot smith fan.

ghost world and harold and maude and the virgin suicides are up there. woody allen, gregg araki, and robert altman (in the 70's anyway). full metal jacket and apocalypse now.

augusten burrroughs, william burroughs, david sedaris, white oleander. to name a few.
