ABOUT ME

My wife and I have visited many countries over the past 20 years. Unfortunately, due to health problems I have not been able to travel for leisure since 2005. Now we have a beautiful baby boy in 2008 so travelling is even more difficult at present. Hopefully, if my health improves we can resume travelling as a small family. In the meantime, it would be great to meet or communicate with Couchsurfers who are visiting the UK or specifically the Wakefield locality.

Would like to meet and/or help Couchsurfers in the Wakefield locality. We do have one world-class must-visit attraction in Wakefield - the Yorkshire Sculpture Park - including a permanent James Tyrell sky viewer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting on the terrace of Van Goghs night cafe in Arles, France in the summer moonlight situated in a tiny old town square. It is astonishing that this still exists exactly as Van Gogh painted it.
