Life is not about how much you have, it is about how much you give.
Too difficult to answer right now. I can't fit myself in this little box.
Work hard, follow thru with what you say, experince new things, keep in touch with friends, and call your mom sometimes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I recently joined the CS Project. I heard about it from a friend who had done some surfing already and hosted some of you. Last month I was in Australia and saw a book called 'Sleeping Around' about a man's trip around the world by Couch Surfing. It sounds like such a cool idea and the best way to get the most from the traveling experience. Mostly for now, I plan to host people who are coming to my city and might do a "weekend couch surfing" nearby in places I have not been to yet. I have lived in Japan for a little while and am hoping to meet some like-minded people in my backyard and around Japan. Hokkaido is on the top of my list to try to visit soon.
I hosted my first CSer last week. Jeff was fun and has been surfing for a while. He showed me more of the functionalities of the site and I am looking forward to trying to meet some more surfers in my town or I might go to yours!
I love cooking without recipes, fishing badly, drinking beer with strangers, cleaning my apartment when it doesn't need it, reading books on airplanes, knowing about places before I go there, ending up in places I know nothing about, being lost and not caring, doing things for no reason at all, but I don't like washing the dishes........
Music, Movies, and Books
I don't watch very much TV but really love movies. Mostly I prefer true stories but action adventure is fun sometimes too. I like all sorts of music, country, Classic Rock, Industrial, Jam Bands, but not very much Rap music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One thing that comes to mind was my 25th birthday. I shared this day with some travelers in Laos on the Mekong river. We were staying up on a hill in a guesthouse with a great view of the river with mist coming around the bend sharing some beer Lao and eating water buffalo curry together. My new friends helped me celebrate and felt like we had known each other for a long time. I have now forgotten your names but will never foget your company.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn about Japan outside of Tokyo and Osaka. See the countryside and how Kyushu people live. Share with me why you have to come to Japan. I am here for work and hope to stay for a while. Life is great in Kyushu!
