Aloha, I've been living on Maui for more than seven years now, and I have loved every minute of it. I left a 10-year career as a fine dining chef to follow my passion of working on boats/the ocean. I'm very laid back, and love to adventure around the island whenever I have the chance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to host couch surfers years ago, and I met some amazing people in that time. While I am unable to provide a couch right now, I still love to meet new people and show them around the island

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have found myself swimming/diving with sharks on more than one occasion, though usually they have been small reef sharks that are never aggressive

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to show people this beautiful island. Not only do I spend a lot of energy learning about the culture, but I have found some amazing hidden spots here that few people have discovered. Also, I'm pretty good with cooking

What I Can Share with Hosts

Though I'm not currently in the traveling mode, I would always be happy to cook a meal for others.
