About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I have a desire to go out and seek the world, because the world isn't going to come find me first.

ABOUT ME

I'm a jumble of many things. I'm a nerd of many trades. I love Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, and just about every book I've ever had the pleasure to read. I'm someone who smiles at everyone I meet. I'm always itching to go to a new place, while fully investing myself in my current place of residence.

PHILOSOPHY

There are certain emotions in your body that not even your best friend can sympathize with, but you will find the right film or the right book, and it will understand you." -Bjork.

Even though I'm an outgoing person, no one has ever made me feel more understood than Hermione Granger or the Eleventh Doctor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am currently searching for a couch to surf on, however once I graduate I am more than willing to join those who allow surfers to stay in their homes.

Interests

I love to read and write. I'm an avid dancer (contra and west coast swing particularly). I'm always smiling and laughing and generally can find joy in any activity I'm a part of. I love to spend my time investing my life in others' lives. Talking to people and helping them, or even just cheering them up, adds to the fullness of my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stepping out of our van and onto the sandy beaches of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Mexico took my breath away. It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen, and the warm sand and ocean water did not disappoint.

I remember how amazingly surreal it felt to travel to Europe for the first time and stand before all of the monuments that I had only before seen in movies and television shows. However, the funny thing was, I felt more alive and a part of the culture when I was lost in side streets, or stopping for some gelato at a sweet shop than when I was touring the tower of Pisa.
