About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore South America together and get to know the people and places of this amazing continent!
ABOUT ME
Hi, we are a couple from the UK (Jenny is from England and Bob is from Scotland). We are both mid-20s, left our jobs in England, and are currently travelling in South America hoping to meet some interesting people through couchsurfing. Jenny studied Arabic and Spanish at uni and has lived in various countries, and Bob is a computer scientist. We are (we think) friendly, enquiring, and considerate people who will be good guests and are also keen to practice our Spanish!
PHILOSOPHY
When faced with a choice, always take the path unknown...
People and relationships are more important than anything else in life
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We haven't participated yet but are hoping to soon. We believe that meeting local people is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable aspects of travelling or living abroad so we're really interested in the CouchSurfing mission.
Bob volunteers his skills on the website of an NGO called Leap Local which has some similar aims to couchsurfing in terms of putting travellers directly in contact with local people for the benefit of both parties: www.leaplocal.org
