To experience life in all aspects and meet new people
I wouldn't know where to start. Reading other sections of my profile might give you an idea.
Well, I would gladly discuss this with any intellectual open-minded being :) I feel that I cannot explain my philosophy in simple terms since I don't believe in particular ideologies (I'm actually against most of them since I consider them to be extremes and impractical).
I have been postponing putting this up a lot but now I feel that I must based on the type of messages myself and my (female) friends get. Please note although some people use CouchSurfing as a dating website, do not assume everybody else does. Whilst everyone is free to do whatever they want, even though CS's main goal is NOT dating, let's all be respectful and appreciate the person as a human being first and foremost, and make it a safe place for everyone to enjoy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I appreciate meeting open-minded individuals who are willing to share their experiences. In my opinion this is the true CS experience - feeling a connection, and it does not apply just for CS but life in general.
Have never actually hosted someone but since I've lived in India I had the pleasure to meet loads of interesting people mostly through CouchSurfing meets organised by the Bangalore group.
Comp Science and AI, Photography is my passion, Outdoor activities such as hiking, Sports, Movies, Music and many others.
Music, Movies, and Books
Where do I start?
Movies: I simply love thrillers and animation. These are some of the movies that I like:
Forrest Gump, Minority Report, South Park: The Movie, 1984, The Matrix, Beavis and Butthead Do America, The Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, 12 Angry Men, Rear Window, The Ring, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy Advent Children, Fight Club, American Beauty, Se7en, Léon, American History X, Requiem for a Dream, The Green Mile, The Sixth Sense, V for Vendetta, Shrek, Finding Nemo, Gone Girl
Music: Progressive metal mostly, though I love classical, some pop and some hip-hop too - a little bit of everything you could say :)
Books: I really wish I had more time to read about topics which interest me but most of the time I end up reading technical work-related stuff. Currently reading: The Lucifer Principle, The Power of Now - it's taking ages to finish :(
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I see amazing things everyday - emotions in facial expressions, the beautiful sky in the morning and evening while I'm driving to and from work and in general:the joy of being alive. As for things I have 'done' - I think life is a journey, and investing in self-improvement is one of the best things I have ever done. Life is a journey and when you seek to work on things at a deeper level, one can lead a better life.
