experience life to its fullest...and enjoy the food and coffee along the way.
I FINALLY landed my first job in my field, only problem, I had to leave my home state....and the lower 48. But with that said, it was an adventure that I will look back upon fondly. I'm currently back in California and looking for new adventures, my most recent one I'm preparing for is navigating marriage - I'm recently engaged.
Uh huh, tell me more about that....
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have had the opportunity to both couch surf and host, each was a rewarding experience in its own right. Since I haven't gotten the chance to travel the world yet I figured why not bring the world to me.
You name it, I'm probably interested - I have too many interests. Can you have too many interests?
But let's see...art, music, movies, bitcoin, racquet sports, learning, museums, vintage shopping, estate sales, kitch, things off the beaten path, novelties, architecture, people watching, etc.
Music, Movies, and Books
Iggy Pop to Otis Redding. Frasier, King of the Hill, Breaking Bad, Curb Your Enthusiasm, True Detective. I typically read non-fiction. I waste a good amount of time on Netflix.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen the most beautiful scenery ever just outside of Seattle on a white water rafting trip. Temecula wine valley at sunrise from a hot air balloon was a pretty close 2nd. To trump the others, the northern lights in Alaska - they were spectacular.
Teach, Learn, Share
Furniture refinishing, tennis fundamentals (former coach), IQ testing and cognitive processing (if you ever wanted to actually know), ridiculous facts, how to shop estate sales and resell on ebay, make some pretty delicious coffee with a french press, invest in bitcoin
