You never know!
I've been apprenticing on a homestead in midcoast Maine this summer. I have many un-plans planned for the fall including a trip to the midwest to play music, visit the North House Folk School in Minnesota and see what exciting opportunities I come across! The winter is still TBD!
I like to keep myself busy, be actively involved in my community, play old time music with people, have open, engaging conversations, do good things in the world.
I have a big vision for my life! I want to be part of creating a sustainable future, addressing environmental issues from a local level in my daily life. I want to do something with modern day homesteading, re-skilling and traditional crafts.
Live in a community setting, build my own timber frame house, facilitate knowledge being passed on, raise an awesome, happy family, grow my own food, drive less, network locally, keep learning...
I'm pretty independent and am happy doing my own thing even if it means going solo. Except for hiking in bear country, which I never do alone because I have a phobia of bears.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I work and play my way seasonally around many regions of the US, and enjoy meeting new people, checking out fun local attractions, and seeing new places!
While I'm transient now, I someday hope to house couchsurfers when I settle down!
I've couchsurfed a number of times around the US and New Zealand.
