Hello you! How are you doing?

I am Jente and honestly I have only recently discovered the beauty of couchsurfing when I joined a so called hangout in Amsterdam, my hometown, and I met Deep and Gagan. I took them to relax on one of my favorite hidden spots in Amsterdam. Its called Mandela Huisje. Which translates to The Little Mandela House.
It is a gorgeous and peaceful terrace by the water of the IJ in Amsterdam centre. But it is hidden. Most tourists never find it. Deep and Gagan where so grateful to enjoy this place, which made me very happy.
We had a wonderful conversation about India and the Netherlands. It blew my mind that the city of Delhi has a population of 26 million 🤯 I knew that Amsterdam is considered a smal city, but since I grew up in a tiny village I always thought of it as a big place. But the 1,8 million of Amsterdam is nearly nothing compared to Delhi.

I hope to meet more people through hangouts in Amsterdam and hopefully start hosting soon. For now I’m actually on holiday myself. It was a last minute decision to catch some sunlight. 🙏😊 My heart goes out to all the hosts here on Couchsurfing. When I see your profiles and all the happy faces I feel proud of the human race. You are a shining example of love and joy!

More details: I am a working lady with a love for music, culture and friends and family. I used to have a dance career, now I work an office job. I love to discover new hidden places in the city. I can accompany you to museums, parks, hidden cultural places. But ofcourse I will respect it if you prefer to spend time by yourself 👍🙏 If we are at my home we can share a meal or breakfast, coffee, tea, wine, you can use the bathsalt or oils at my place. Basically minha Casa Es sua casa. you will hear some of my favorite music and you will get The love of my pet, Leentje, she is a cat 🐈

As a guest I would love to sing a song for you. I would love to prepare breakfast. Tidy and clean the place until it is shiny and fresh. Care for plants or animals🪴🥰 and much more!
