Buddhist who enjoys showing care by completing chores, knows how to cook (prefer to make simple meals but enjoy making more elaborate ones with time/inspiration, especially when others are interested in the process), knows the building trade well enough to frame and finish (have used all the power tools I can think of) and can follow instructions and get advice complete an unfamiliar project in a thorough and timely manner, knows how to clean and paint meditatively, and loves kids and pets.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've done extended living-space-for-work exchanges in Oakland, Kensington (Berkeley Hills), and El Cerrito, and now am looking for fellowship and space to be quiet while I find a long-term rental.
Interests
Appreciate seated meditation, Buddhist texts, cycling, anti-authoritarian politics, helping those in need, caring for plants, and learning about Ayurveda/Chinese and other holistic health practices.
