To visit every country in the world...152 to go, four a year until i snuff it! assuming i make it to 70years...i think i better be quick!!!

ABOUT ME

i have been living and travelling in asia for the last 5 or 6 years and am currently in taiwan. i'm always on the move so that is why im joining couch surfing. the weirder and more off the beaten paths i go the more i long for some local interaction and help that runs deeper than, 'hello, what is your country?!' i think staying with people who's country it is would be fantastic.
i own a music venue in taipei, so i definetely know where to go and where the good times are in this city!

PHILOSOPHY

Try and i mean try to be polite and nice to people. Its hard as there are so many idiots out there...but the world can be easy. i'm not a big fan of religion, i understand its use, but i'm not convinced. i think people should be responsible for their own actions not because it's enforced by book and fear.

Alternative music, i like so many genres its easier to say what i don't like....ahem...Psy-Trance gets no joy from me, crappy obvious poppy guitar shit like coldplay and keane...
I love 1970's movies - Roy Schieder is my favorite actor...
top movies would be - jaws, one flew over the cookoos nest, serpico, dog day, scarecrow, china town, the 7ups, marathon man, french connection etc etc
favorite books are probably by the indian writer Aravind Adiga...i'm a big india fan
