About Me

25 countries before I turn 25. - DONE. Next milestone = 50 by 30 - DONE!

I'm originally from the Philippines and now I live & work here in Brussels, Belgium.

I'm also a travel blogger and I suggest that you check my (inactive) blog to get to know me more

I love being on the road. I took my first trip abroad at 14 and more than a decade after, I traveled to more than 50 countries spanning five continents.

I consider my travel experiences to be the most rewarding part of my life so far - both the good and the bad. I take pride for having devoted a good part of my life to travel. And in exchange, I hope to inspire others to do so too.

Apart from travelling, I've kept my interest around films, spending time with my friends, hiking, reading and a bit of cooking.

Brussels has been my second home for the past five years, and I decided to stay for a variety of reasons. I consider this city as my second home, so I will be happy to welcome you and help you enjoy your visit.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -- Mark Twain

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been actively surfing and hosting for the past few years. Mostly hosting in the past months and surfing unofficially during my first years of travels.

I host mainly as a way to give back to the awesome people I've met in my travels who had equally shown their generosity, kindness and hospitality when I'm on the road.

I've had plenty of amazing experiences in couchsurfing:

1. Celebrating 2015 New Year with a bunch of Couchsurfers
2. Meeting amazing surfers with a few turning into good friends that I've kept in touch for years
3. Plenty of night-outs, crazy trips and parties (too many to mention)
4. Having a surfer who in a funny instance became my colleague at work
4. Just having the opportunity to go beyond my comfort zone and meet people from different walks of life
