Sophie and Jess are two vibrant travellers who are backpacking on an around the world trip! We have spent 4 months around South East Asia exploring countries such as Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Indonesia and now we are moving onto Australia and New Zealand for the next chapter. We love meeting new people and having thoughtful conversations with those we meet. The best part of our trip had been experiencing and learning about different cultures!

We have discovered on our journey that the best way to experience the culture of a country is through the diverse people who live there. We are on couch surfing as we believe this is the best way to experience the country and helps us connect with local people.

We love heavy metal and rock music like iron maiden, metallica, the doors and nirvana.

We enjoy watching films of all genres. Sophie's favourite films include pulp fiction, Rambo, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Adventureland and Snatch.

Jessica likes martial arts and Japanese animation films like crouching tiger hidden dragon, ong bak, howls moving castle, kikis delivery service.

Books include authors such as Bukowski, Hunter S.Thompson, Burroughs.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Over the last four months we've done so many amazing things such as explore the ancient temples of Bagan, swim in the crystal blue waterfalls of Luang Prabang, play chicken to cross the road with the scooter mayhem in Vietnam but the most amazing experience to date is coming face to face with the active volcanic smoking crater of Mount Bromo in Java!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Along the way we have learnt a fair few languages (or attempted to!), indulged in asian cuisine, learnt how to put together a Vietnamese coffee, picked up a few traditional dance moves, spoken and met travellers from all over the globe and spoke with a lots of locals which all makes for some great tales to share!

We can also bake an abundance of goodies for you to try!

We can cook up some English grub (and make a good brew!), discuss music, literature and have a good natter about pretty much anything!
