A solo mission in Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand
Travelling and meeting new people is one of my favourite things. I love music and go to a lot of shows in Montreal, and I also play keyboards/piano in a band. I'm into writing and journalism, but currently work as a technical writer. I love humour and joking around, but also enjoy in-depth conversations. I also love fashion and sewing. I almost never buy anything new, and love second-hand shops, vintage shops, and flea markets.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have used couchsurfing when travelling in Hawaii, and also recently in Istanbul. I love the idea of couchsurfing, as my household has always been open to people crashing, even before I found out about this site!
Meeting new people, having adventures, writing, photography, art, music, reading, biking, swimming, nutrition, being vegetarian.
Music, Movies, and Books
Last two movies I watched: The Slums of Beverley Hills, and Tiny Furniture (Lena Dunham)
Last shows I watched: The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Girls, The Hills
Last records I listened to: Paranoid by Black Sabbath, Lovelessness by Bison BC, and An Awesome Wave by Alt-J
I love metal/doom/thrash/garage rock/punk first, but also love soul/country some folk music/indie rock, anything well-written and with beautiful lyrics.
Currently reading: Love in the Time of Cholera
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to pick out a couple--probably being in Argentina, travelling from 30 degree celsius weather on the border of Brazil one day to the "end of world" in minus temperatures the next day among some of the hugest glaciers I've ever seen. Sunrise in every place I've been. Most recently, the clearest sea in Turkey.
