ABOUT ME

I like to experience new things, get my mind stimulated by good conversation, and eat and make excellent food, among other things. People fascinate me. So many people out there have so many stories and adventures to share, and I intend to meet at least a few to share some of my own with.

I am very contemplative, and find sometimes that in social settings I tend to observe interaction more than partake in it, but also have a very outgoing extroverted personality at times as well. I consider myself to be on a journey of sorts through life, and enjoy watching myself change and go through phases. I also have a fascination with the human mind, which I have been observing (my own) for a while now....

Been playing blues and jazz piano for 14 years now, and accordion for 5. Now I am writing and composing electronic, cinematic, classical, and other kinds of music any which way I can. Playing and sharing music with other people is one of the ways I connect best, and I love those random jams that spark up. Hoping to make some real connections along my travels.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ever since discovering couch surfing I have been enthralled with the experience of it and the amount of wonderful people I have met through it. I love meeting new people, and also enjoy being a host as it is a great way of learning about other parts of the world and making beautiful connections. I love to cook and and play music with other people and have had many good jams with the people I meet.
I try to be as tidy and neat as possible when traveling, although I am comfortable staying in any kind of conditions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CS experience so far has been stellar, the people I have met and the places I have seen have only given me a much larger appetite to go out further and see and meet more awesome people.

兴趣

Nature always grabs my attention, no matter where I go. Absolutely love backpacking and hiking - anywhere completely immersed in nature is good (Yosemite National Park backcountry is my absolute favorite). Climbing mountains, rocks, and trees, fording through rivers and jumping into high mountain streams!
For a while I climbed trees for my job, which was perfect because tree-climbing is one of my favorite activities. I also love going to music and cultural festivals because the people I meet there are all very open-minded and of the same attitude.
Music is my life-passion. My goal is to create something new and revolutionary in the field of music, as well as expand on the already large field of sound healing and music

My favorite novel is Shantaram, that book moved me and everyone else I talk to about it feels the same way: Absolute gem.
Really really enjoyed the Game of Thrones series, and waiting with baited breath for the next book to come out.
I enjoy good movies and cinema very much, and regard them as works of art as well - even considering following a career in the music industry of hollywood.
Over the years I have accumulated a vast amount of music and eclectic mix of artists ranging from traditional celtic, jazz, world, classical, dance, bass music, gypsy, latin, reggae, brainwave to dirty, grimy dubstep.

I am an avid student when it comes to things like philosophy and spirituality, and am always looking for more knowledge and wisdom to learn and discover. Recently I have been having my mind blown by realizing more and more the connection between science and spirituality - how at a quantum level all things are connected. And things like the Fibonacci sequence - which is found in many things in nature, from sea shells to galaxies to the intricacies of the human face... it is absolutely FASCINATING to me. My passion is learning more about things that interest me, and I have found that sometimes the most random people can teach me the most meaningful things.
