ABOUT ME

I'm adventurous, outgoing, and a little 'wacky' sometimes. I love spending my time outdoors and with friends. Camping and hiking are definitely my favorite things to do. I also enjoy music (listening and singing), literature(writing and reading), poetry (writing and reading), and philosophy. I tend to not spend too much time in one area. I'm having a rough time with my family right now and I'm still working my way through school, so mostly I will be drifting around from place to place. I am a very passionate and open-minded person.

PHILOSOPHY

No regrets. Always be prepared. Life is too short to live by "what if's" or others' rules. There are not enough hours in the day or days in the year to do everything that I wish I could do, but I strive to live my life to the fullest because there's too much to experience to not dive into it.

I'm really new to CS, so I'm just trying to get my feet wet.

I enjoy doing a lot of outdoorsy stuff, but I can also appreciate cities and what they have to offer. I've probably said this a thousand times; but I like hiking, camping, snowboarding, running, reading, writing, listening to music, watching movies, and conversing with new people. I party from time to time, but I don't make a lifestyle out of it. I go to school for environmental science and I like to stay in shape physically and mentally to be able to work in the field. I also enjoy traveling around the world and absorbing new cultures. I feel like almost every summer for a large portion of my life I would travel to a new place and I think it has made me become the open minded person that I am. I also enjoy cooking and baking!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I went on an 11 day expedition through the Rocky Mountains with my venture crew. (Philmont Scout Ranch) On the last day we dropped pack and rock climbed up Baldy Mt which is the highest peak in Philmont. When I got to the top I had a 360 degree view of the horizon. It was the greatest experience of my life because not only did I make it through 11 days of intensive hiking, but I also got to feel like an ant on one of the most beautiful landscapes of New Mexico.

My mind is a random collection of tidbits from an encyclopedia. I am very practical and can offer knowledge when it comes to camping and hiking. I've been on many excursions and gone through some training. I have tidbits of knowledge on religion and philosophy and pending on how well you can take a conversation on religion, I'm open to discussing a thing or two. I can make damn good apple pie along with some other deserts and entrees from scratch. I enjoy cooking and think it's an awesome group activity. I'm a science major at William Paterson University so I do have a bunch of random knowledge about the environment and how things work. (ie- global warming, global dimming, soil/water analysis, dendrochronology, ecology, biology, recycling, hybrid cars, etc)
