I am 25 years old and at the moment in my gap year between my bachelor and master studies. I am a curious and open person and I am always happy to meet new interesting people. For me traveling is a very special and intensive form of learning. I love to visit new places and getting to know to other people, for me this is the best way of learning.
During my studies I lived in Buenos Aires and traveled in Argentina, Chile, Peru and Bolivia, which was an inspiring experience. Usually I prefer to stay longer at a place so that I can get to know people better. I really like to learn languages, at the moment I live in the South of France to learn French.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have met so many interesting and lovely people via couchsurfing and I think it is a very good way to meet people and to get to know a place.
I like to be outside. I go hiking and running, but I also love just to walk around and get lost. I like traveling of course, and I read a lot. I am very interested in history and I like to discover regional food, habits, languages. That's in part why I love traveling, too.
I like to go dancing from time to time, even if I am not very good. And most of all I love hanging out with my friends and other nice people, spending the evening with talking the world, drinking wine and just enjoy.
Music, Movies, and Books
That is hard to say.
3 of my favourite movies are "12 Angry Men" and The Godfather I and Two on a plane.
Books : Harry Potter (my childhood), To kill a mockingbird, some of Kafkas' (America, the Process) and Heinrich Böll... I like poems, too. My favorites:
Táctica y estrategia de Mario Benedetti
Instantes de Borges
Belsazar von Heine
An die Nachgeborenen von Bertolt Brecht
I like all different kinds of music, but I am not very up to date. I like Latin American music, e.g. Tonolec from Argentina, Orishas from Cuba and Calle 13 from Puerto Rica. Others : Moriarty, Jeff Buckley, Eric Clapton, Neil Young...
In France I discovered French Hip Hop which I like very much, e.g. Keny Arkana and IAM. I hope I will get to know more of that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went up to Machu Picchu
