I am a teacher in Orlando, FL. I have been teaching now for 10 years. Currently, I have only been to 2 countries outside of the US. I have been to Ireland and the Philippines. I love to travel, enjoy new places, and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to travel more and meet new people. I know traveling and staying with locals is the right way to travel. You get to see the real parts of the new place and experience it like a local.

Interests

I love to hike, run, work out, eat at local places, blog, read, ride my bike, travel, go to pubs, talk to new people. I love to go to concerts, music festivals, the beach, go to sporting events (football, soccer, baseball), explore new cities, take pictures, and I love to see Broadway shows.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice; I loved the scenery and the main character, Elizabeth. I am currently working on reading books by three authors: Jane Green, Cecilia Ahern, and Nicholas Sparks. As far as music goes, I like country, alternative, oldies, and singer songwriter music. Last summer in Ireland, I heard lots of great music on the streets. I love live music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To date I would have to say going to Ireland alone last summer. I had no one who was able or wanted to go with me, so I went by myself. It was a great experience! I learned that traveling alone is not that hard.

I can teach about Florida, where to go, what to see, what to do. I would love to learn from others. I am open to learning new things to do and about new cultures.
