About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I aspire to be inspired by the people I meet on my travels

ABOUT ME

I tend to see the positives in any situation so I'm pretty easy going so im not too hard to entertain. I love to meet new people and experiencing new things.

PHILOSOPHY

We should appreciate life. Give what we can, help each other and just enjoy the ride.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm up for trying new foods, activities and just experiencing places with locals that know the best places to go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, I am new to this...

Interests

Friendly people and breathtaking views. When I visit a place I like to experience it for real instead of the normal tourist attractions that´s why I like to meet locals and experince their local hangouts (i.e. pub, beach, skatepark), recomendations of food and just meeting their friends and family. I love to surf, draw, cook and experienece whatever the place I´m in has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love live music. Acoustic sessions, indie/reggae/rock/swing bands and decent DJs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Waking up in a cave in Ojen which had a stunning view of the town and I could see the sea in the distance between the mountains. I had driven from portugal the day before with 3 friends I had met at the hostel I worked in and needed a place to stay as it was dark and raining even though my sleeping bag was wet (I had to sleep in my surf board bag), and there were bats in the cave, it was an adventure and a beautiful place to wake up.

My first rainbow gathering (in Spain) is an experience I will never forget. Arriving with friends I met in Lagos, we were welcomed to the forest with opened arms and the words "Welcome home." It poured with rain the majority of the time and our tents were flooded out but the vibes and feeling of the place made it magical. Its a hippy community with no electricity, no phones, no hate and no leader. Everyone eats together, washes in the waterfall and makes music all day long. people from around the world, many different languages; all there for the same reason - to be around genuine people.

Meeting the parents of some of the girls that I taught art in America was a special moment. I was touched when the girls were so enthusiastic to show their parents the art that they had done and when they along with their parents, thanked me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give art lessons, make jewellery and teach beginners how to surf.

I enjoy cooking so love to learn new recipes and trying out anything active that will get my heart racing and adrenaline pumping.
