About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding out what I want to do with my life.

ABOUT ME

I play violin... I like to listen to music, hang out with people, read, and make web pages and graphics. I've been vegan since July of 2007, and I plan to continue to refrain from consuming animals and animal products.

I like musicals. I never said I didn't like girls. I like weird/different people. All it takes is someone who questions things. I don't believe in a lot of traditional things and attitudes - religions, relationships, diets, life paths, ambitions, families, etc. I do well at school, and I'm generally considered pretty smart, but I don't want to go to college. I believe that everyone has something special to contribute... and that just going to college and getting a job probably isn't the only way to go. I think there are loads of things wrong with our current society and systems, and I want to do something to change that. I don't know what that something is yet, but I know I'm at least going to try to fix the problems I see. So yes, I am idealistic and naive.

I'm still unsure as to what direction I will go from here, but I want it to be my choice. I'm not just going to do what conventional "wisdom" says I should do. The world is in desperate need of some major changes - And real change is only going to come from the people, not from some well-liked leader with powerful rhetoric. I hope to be able to inform others and participate in reshaping society into a place where every person and species is treated fairly and all beings have the freedom to live their lives as they see fit without infringing on the freedom of anything else.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life in the hopes that I will make a positive impact and that I will leave the planet a better place for future generations.
I think that all species deserve much more freedom than they currently have.
