About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Turning Japanese...

ABOUT ME

Hey there! Well, I'm Jess and I've lived in Sydney all my life. I love Japanese culture and language, as well as Finance and business related things. I hope to travel the world, learn more about all cultures and embrace my embarrassing traits :)

Been to Thailand, Japan (5times going on 6) and now South Korea! (technically North as well if you count the DMZ)

PHILOSOPHY

To learn to love and take risks. Life is about finding what makes one truly happy, and embracing that. Feeling and giving love is vital to a fulfilled existence.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still living with my parents, so on rare occasions you may be able to surf at mine for a short time. I WOULD LOVE TO HOST SOMEONE FROM JAPAN so let me know. I can host you, then you can host me when I come over (travelling from Tokyo down to Osaka in January 2011)
:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My sister did some surfing when she went to South America and had an amazing experience. I love to meet foreigners and learn more about the interesting cultures of the world!!

Interests

- Japanese culture
- Business and finance - really, how the world works
- computer games
- SHOPPING (shoe fetish)
- eating (a lot, you would be surprised)
- being social in general, making new friends

Music, Movies & Books

I love most music (pop, rock, trance, electro, indie)

Recent obsession with K-pop and J-pop

And no, I don't read. I loathe reading

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Snowboarding in Nozawa Onsen in Japan. The moment I stood at the top of the mountain I felt like I could fly. Pure happiness, never felt that way other than when in love...
