About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Mission is to host people from all over the world therefore making friends and sharing our lovely area with them. We also hope to visit others in areas of interst.
ABOUT ME
I am 66 years of age and my husband just turned 72 so we are enjoying retirement and traveling. We are outgoing and enjoy entertaining. We stay involved in our community with volunteer work whenever possible. We have one kitty. She is an indoor kitty as she is white so needs to be kept indoors as she would be suseptible to cancer from the sun. If you are allegic to cats please do not consider staying with us.
PHILOSOPHY
We are both non-smokers and do not drink much but not tee-totalers. We enjoy having a good time, visiting, sharing our travel experiences as well as hearing of others travel experiences. We enjoy learning of others cultures and try to glean the good from others beliefs to improve our lives, such as the Australian's way of respecting the life of all ceatures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During one of our trips in March of 2006, we saw something in the road ahead while touring with one of our hosts. I thought it was something that had fallen out of a vehicle and my husband thought it was a pile of rocks in the road. As our host steered the car so it would go over whatever it was without hitting it with the tires I watched to see what it was ahead. As we came closer we realized it was a large coiled snake. It was about 18" across the coil and it's body looked to be around 3 inches through. It had a diamond pattern on it's skin. We have been told it most likely was a python. When we returned later it was no longer there and we were relieved to know that nobody had hit it.
Teach, Learn, Share
We hope to be able to show our visitors places in our area that they might not know about from tour books. We have an abundance of fabric kites if anyone cares to go kiting while here. You may enjoy our flower garden as there are several benches to sit on to reflect on life and just enjoy the flowers.
