About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To become the pokemon master.

ABOUT ME

I'm a person. Surprise! But, really. I don't know how to describe myself- I'm a guy, I'm from the US (Alabama), I am extremely open-minded and I love food. I spend too much time on computers and I just want to experience the most things that I can experience before my time's up.

I'm currently studying in the UK on an exchange program, and I'm absolutely loving it. The people are so friendly, it's so easy to make new international friends. That's probably why I've made this profile, the interactions I've had here with complete strangers who were amazing.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone on earth is an amazing person capable of amazing things and there's not enough time in your life to waste by being sad. When you're walking outside on a clear sunny day and suddenly the colors all seem brighter and you start to smile a little, you grab that feeling and you keep it for as long as possible, because that is how you should feel always.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now I am just able to surf, I live in student accomodation so there's not even a couch to be surfed on. I will pay it forward, though.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I literally listen to almost anything. Dubstep, acoustic, indie, electronic, metal, rap, classical.. I think all music has a particular situation in which it is just undeniably good. The bands I can listen to on repeat for 10 hours, though, would be Queen and the Beastie Boys.

Books:
I wish I read more, but I don't. I think To Kill A Mockingbird is the best stand-alone book I've read, the best series being Philip Pulman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy. I also like the Ender's Game series, and, admittedly nerdish, the Drizzt Do'Urden books.

Teach, Learn, Share

Look into archaeological history of North American Indians, of the Hopewell culture. If not that specific, just Native American cultures in general. It is an often-overlooked treasure chest of art, tradition, and history.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
