ABOUT ME

I just turned 20 and I am spending the summer of 2008 living in Copenhagen, Denmark. I take pleasure in eating soft serve ice cream and playing scrabble with my boyfriend. I have a cat and a dog back in Winnipeg and they are very awesome. I like reading but I am slow. I am a great swimmer. I am a vegetarian and a self proclaimed environmentalist. I like running when it's not too windy and I enjoy the occasional fashion purchase.

PHILOSOPHY

Be a conscious consumer. Ummmm, don't eat animals unless you are aware of the impact that it is making on the planet and be nice to people even if you don't like their style.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not had many couch surfing experiences so far, but they have all been a great success. My boyfriend has hosted a few people back home. I had my first couch surf this summer in Copenhagen before I found an apartment. I moved to Denmark without a home and my couch surfing host found me a job and an apartment in the city within 2 days and thus I am extremely greatful and forever in her debt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a train through the Fraser canyon to go surfing in the north west pacific ocean.

Teach, Learn, Share

Always use lots of ice when making martinis and check that the air pressure in your bike tires is around 100 psi (road bikes).
