ABOUT ME

I'm Gabe, long time Australian resident, third culture kid and seasoned explorer.

As a kid I travelled a lot as my parents moved around. When I got older I just assumed it was normal to keep travelling, and hear I am now, always on the search for somewhere new and exciting.

I love new experienes, new countries, new flavours and smells, new people and friends and everything that goes with exploring. Some of my best memories are when It's all gone horribly wrong!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed for the first time last year in Hobart, Tasmania and quickly became addicted to how friendly and warm total strangers can be.

I've also had some experience hosting too, usually as the backup tour guide and professional (read terrible) chef.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazing. Everyone I've ever met through CS has been wonderful, whether I've stayed with them or they've stayed here.

It's amazing how nice it is to fly into a strange land and find people so friendly and ready to show you the secrets of their home.

Who ever said don't talk to strangers got it wrong!
